Jillian Lawrence

Jillian has resided in Shawnigan Lake since 2008 with her husband, Graeme, and their two children. Both she and Graeme were drawn to this community to raise their family and see it as a beautiful sanctuary where they can enjoy nature and connection to others in a collaborative, supportive environment.
The Shawnigan Lake Alliance Church Preschool is where they first found their connection to the people of the community and began to build lifelong friendships. Jillian volunteered as the Community Preschool Playgroup Coordinator to facilitate connection between young families in the area. She has also been featured in a video series from the CVRD addressing the Shawnigan Lake watershed and our community.
As a local business owner since 2016, Jillian offers her expertise as a marketing coach. Her business, Jillian Lawrence Inc., is based in Whippletree Junction and offers services to help small business owners understand how to use a modern relationship-based approach to marketing. She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs learn how to create a heart-centered marketing strategy that focuses on building genuine connections to make a lasting impact.
