Joined the board in 2021

Brendon Joyce was born and raised in Shawnigan Lake and is now sharing this beautiful area with his wife Lauren and two children, Keenen, and Peri. Brendon’s family has been in Shawnigan since his Grandparents bought property on the old Shawnigan Lake Road (below Stowood Road) around 1948. The property has remained in the family since that time. Brendon’s Dad was very involved in the community, particularly with the Parks commission, for years. His Mom taught the area.

Brendon started his carpentry career right out of high school and graduated as a certified Carpenter. He has worked as a General Contractor, in residential and commercial projects and everything in-between, from pushing the broom to running multi-million-dollar projects. He prides himself on his skill set and his attention to detail. Brendon is well connected to trades and suppliers and has built an amazing team of reliable local companies that share his same attention to detail, cleanliness and work ethic.

Brendon is very interested in the history of the lake and surrounding area and would like to help to build and promote the history of Shawnigan Lake. Brendon excited to participate in the growth of the museum and its future.
